Something Extra: Thank Your Customers

November 29th, 2010 · Uncategorized

Here’s a great idea to imitate from California Pizza Kitchen: Remember to thank your customers after you finish the sale or complete the service.  It’s a chance to tell your clients how much you appreciate them, give incentive for them to do repeat business, and keep your brand in their minds.

CPK’s promotion earlier this year was to give customers a sealed envelope that was only to be opened on the next visit.  It contained prizes ranging from 10% off a meal to $25,000 in cash.  Of course, it was only valid if the customer made a second purchase from the restaurant, and only if it was opened by CPK personnel.  Pretty ingenious, huh?
